Crocodile Physics is an excellent programme to use when teaching electricity, waves and optics. I find the optics simulations particularly useful. If you are using a SMART board you can use crocodile physics whenever you draw circuits or ray diagrams. If you draw a circuit in this way you can then measure potential and current at different places to verify the results of a calculation. Unlike real circuits these always give the right answer. Once drawn you can copy the pictures into your SMART notes.
