Practical 5 Time of flight
Introduction
This practical is for HL students who have done the AHL projectiles topic.
Students use a light gate and landing pad to measure the time of flight of a projectile. They are given the equation for the motion but have to work out how to process the data to find the velocity of the ball as it leaves the launcher.
Assessment
This practical can be used to assess DCP and CE, students should follow the same procedure as used on all the practicals up to this point in the programme. Details of the actual requirements can not be given here as it would give to much information to my students and I wouldn't be able to use this practical for assessment.
