Practical 7 The pendulum
Introduction
In this practical students measure the time period a pendulum to determine the acceleration due to gravity. Although they can choose which way they measure the time period this practical is not used to assess the Design aspect since the research question is given.
Assessment
This practical can be used to assess DCP and CE, students should follow the same procedure as used on all the practicals up to this point in the programme. Details of the actual requirements can not be given here as it would give to much information to my students and I wouldn't be able to use this practical for assessment.
