Aside from its pristine beaches and the beautiful landscape, Phuket is known for its quality service and everything is affordable thus it is a no-brainer that it became one of the biggest assets of the kingdom of Thailand.
It is for these very reasons that AirAsia decided to expand its current network. The airline announced that beginning on the 2nd day of July they will be launching a direct flight from Phuket going to Jakarta and vice-versa. Tourists will have the chance to choose between three scheduled flights every week.
Priority bookings are now open for all Big Members of the airline and they can use their existing deals to book flights with the new route as long as its validity is until May 12. The booking dates they can avail is only between July 2 and October 29 of this year. The base fare for a single trip with the new Phuket to Jakarta route is set at 1,450 baht.

They have seen the big potential of Phuket when it comes to the tourism sector because of its good reputation not just with local travelers but those from foreign countries as well. Through the launching of the direct flight between Jakart and Phuket, they can use the chance to attract tourists to visit Indonesia as a side trip as there is already an available flight they can avail right at the island’s airport.
Out of all the capital cities of the countries in Southeast Asia, Jakarta remains to be the largest and it also a commercial hub. Tourists booking through this new route will only have to pay 2,900 baht from their family hotel in Phuket (ファミリーホテルプーケット) going to an accommodation in Jakarta. However, a roundtrip domestic fare between Jakara and Bali is around 4,195 baht.
