Wedding Season For AFL Players

It is the season of love for the members of the football clubs as the AFL players are set to marry their partners on what they refer to as the great wedding road trip in order for them to witness each other’s ceremony. It is surely a field day for wedding planner in Sydney as they are in high demand with the number of couples tying the knot.

One of the brides-to-be is Amber Greasley who is the former Miss World Australia. She is one of the people joining the road trip as they prepare for the series of nuptials that will be happening all over the east coast. The road trip also includes their own wedding ceremony as she will be tying the knot with Jeremy Laidler, the player from Sydney Swans.

According to the Carmex ambassador, they will be participating in what they refer to as the off-season’s great wedding road trip.

They will be visiting Bright first where the wedding of Sam Reid and Kim is happening. Next, they will continue on to Bowral to witness the wedding of Nick Smith and his fiancée.

After attending two wedding ceremonies, they will go back to Melbourne for their very own wedding ceremony. Once their own is done, they will go to Echuca to see Dawson Simpson, GWS player and Allira as they tie the knot. On December, before the year ends, there will be another wedding in a venue just one hour outside of Melbourne where Carlton’s Sam Rowe will be saying I Do.

Due to the number of wedding events Laidler and Greasley have to attend to, they decided to put their honeymoon on hold.

She said that they are doing their best to maximize the off season thus there will be honeymoon this year for the couple.

She also added that what they will do instead is to take a road trip interstate and have fun at the coast during the series of weddings.

The wedding between Greasley and Laidler is happening on November and not one wedding planner in Sydney but many are already taking note of the new trends that might come up from these football clubs’ wedding season.
